My earliest photographs were taken whilst in the Merchant Navy on voyages to the North South and Central Americas, Caribbean, Mediterranean, and South Africa.
I spent 26 years in London as a shipbroker working for various member companies of
The Baltic Exchange, who are major sponsors of the RNLI Salcombe lifeboat -
During this time I became interested in landscape photography and also took photos of heavy lift ships for company advertising material and press releases for newspapers and magazines.
I obtained the ARPS (Associatship) qualification of the Royal Photographic Society in 1998 for a panel of photos taken on a trip across the USA, some of which are in the favourites photo gallery on this site
Since moving to South Devon 11 years ago I have been taking photos of the wonderful scenery in the South Hams , it’s coast and countryside and my photos have been used in local publications and websites.
A lot of photographers put their photos on their website -
